Worldly is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Back-End/API Developer to join their team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable back-end systems and RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
Responsibilities include designing and developing robust back-end systems, planning and implementing data models and database schemas, optimizing application performance, implementing best practices for code structure, writing clean and testable code, collaborating with other developers, and staying updated with the latest trends in back-end development.
Requirements:
Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex and highly performant back-end systems and RESTful APIs is required.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is necessary.
Extensive experience with Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js is essential.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is required.
Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data access patterns is needed.
Knowledge of web networking protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets) and security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption) is important.
Experience with performance profiling, optimization techniques, and software algorithms is required.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
