Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the back-end of our web applications, designing and building REST APIs, working with PostgreSQL and Redis databases, integrating with third-party APIs, deploying and managing apps on AWS, writing unit and integration tests, optimizing application performance, fixing bugs and resolving issues, writing and maintaining technical documentation, and participating in code reviews.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of commercial experience in Node.js.
A minimum of 2+ years working with the NestJS framework is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
Solid experience in building REST APIs and handling data streams is necessary.
3+ years of experience working with Redis and PostgreSQL, including data modeling, indexing, caching, and using ORMs (Prisma/TypeORM/Drizzle ORM) is required.
Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, CloudFront) is essential.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with message brokers.
2+ years of experience working with payment systems is required.
2+ years of experience with Docker is necessary.
Experience integrating third-party APIs is a must.
An understanding of scalable and reliable systems design is required.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
A clean, readable, and efficient coding style is required.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are necessary.
