The position is for a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, agile team responsible for building a platform to support the community team.
Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending tools and technologies, collaborating with peer organizations, developing scalable applications, generating technical documentation, shaping development processes, mentoring team members, and participating in agile ceremonies.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 6+ years of professional experience.
Experience in developing scalable, multi-tier web solutions, ideally for a consumer website, is required.
Proficiency with AWS infrastructure is necessary.
Experience with relational databases, document databases, and/or key/value stores is required.
The candidate should have experience with Java, GoLang, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and GraphQL / REST / gRPC.
