Remote Senior Backend Developer (Optimization Team)

Description:

• We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our Optimization Team.
• This role focuses on improving performance, scalability, and efficiency across our backend systems.
• The ideal candidate will have deep backend expertise, with the ability to identify bottlenecks, optimize code and database queries, and ensure the system can handle large-scale, high-traffic workloads.
• You will be working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where speed, accuracy, and quality are essential.
• Responsibilities include analyzing, optimizing, and refactoring backend code for maximum performance, optimizing database queries, indexes, and caching strategies, troubleshooting and resolving system performance bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture, ensuring backend systems are secure, reliable, and scalable, reviewing and improving test coverage for backend services, and participating in code reviews, mentoring, and best practice sharing.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel or similar framework) and Node.js is required.
• A solid understanding of Python for backend scripts and automation is necessary.
• Experience with MongoDB and relational databases is essential.
• A proven track record in performance optimization and scalability improvements is required.
• Proficiency in API development (REST, GraphQL) and integration is necessary.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and distributed systems is required.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and process managers (PM2) is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD practices is necessary.
• Proven experience delivering results in a fully remote setup is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration are essential.
