Remote Senior Backend Engineer

Description:

• Customer.io is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and evolve systems that power communication at scale.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems in Go.
• Comfort in working within cloud-native environments such as AWS and GCP is essential.
• Familiarity with relational databases, specifically MySQL, and an understanding of performance tradeoffs are required.
• Experience with observability tooling and operating production systems is necessary.
• A bias for action over perfection and pride in owning technical decisions is expected.
