  • The PerfectScale platform is a Kubernetes optimization and management solution that helps DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams optimize cloud performance while minimizing costs.
  • The role involves working on core backend solutions, powering the PerfectScale data pipeline and business logic, and collaborating with product managers and developers from other teams.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions, implementing features from proposal to maintenance, writing clean and maintainable code, improving the health of the codebase, and providing feedback during team planning discussions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Candidates must have 6+ years of backend development experience in Go, Java, Rust, or Python.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of commercial experience with Golang is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with high traffic/high load distributed systems and data pipelines.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including performance, schema, and query optimization, is required, with ClickHouse and Postgres being advantageous.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-grade SaaS products, microservices, and containers is essential.
  • Familiarity with microservices and containers (Docker) is required.
  • Candidates should have a passion for distributed systems design and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps frameworks and best practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD, is necessary.
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization is expected.
  • A proactive, can-do approach and the ability to operate flexibly in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Candidates should be self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
