• Responsibilities include building and scaling the SaaS platform, optimizing Python web applications, collaborating with various teams, owning work from problem definition to deployment, and participating in on-call/incident response.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering roles, focusing on web applications and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python is required, with async experience preferred.
• Prior experience developing and maintaining data-intensive applications at scale is necessary.
• Candidates should have 3+ years of experience with Postgres and Redis.
• Experience with monitoring technologies such as Grafana or Datadog for at least 3 years is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• The ideal candidate should be self-directed, with the initiative to identify problems, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
