As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a cross-functional Product Engineering team to implement high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
You will collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to identify and solve new market opportunities in an agile environment.
Responsibilities include working with loosely defined requirements, participating in architectural discussions, designing and maintaining platform improvements, writing maintainable code, fixing bugs, and mentoring team members.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of web server-side languages such as PHP, Javascript (Node.js), Python, and Golang is required.
Familiarity with relational and document-oriented databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, is necessary.
Knowledge of memory-stored systems like Redis and Memcached is essential.
Understanding of web architectures, services, and API concepts is required.
Experience in developing microservices and using design patterns is necessary.
Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is required.
Proficiency in version control systems such as git or subversion is necessary.
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, are required.
