The role is for a Senior Backend Software Engineer on a 9-month contract, focusing on creating, enhancing, and perfecting systems within a microservices architecture.
Candidates should ideally have a strong focus on Golang, but a polyglot approach to backend languages with some exposure to Go is acceptable.
The position requires solving large and complex problems in application development and working collaboratively in smaller, focused teams.
A genuine passion for problem-solving and coding is essential, along with experience in agile teams and CI/CD environments.
The backend tech stack includes Go, Protobuf, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and utilizes Kubernetes and Ansible for automated deployments across multiple cloud providers.
The team values a DevOps approach, expecting developers to monitor and debug their code in production.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 7 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Backend engineering.
A strong focus on Golang is preferred, but familiarity with other backend languages is acceptable.
Experience in solving large and complex problems in application development is required.
Candidates should have a passion for problem-solving and coding, and enjoy being challenged.
Experience working in agile teams and CI/CD environments is beneficial.
An interest in Data Science is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively in smaller teams and tackle various challenges is necessary.
