Description:
Contentsquare is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Voice of Customer unit.
The role involves building and evolving tools for Surveys, Interviews, and User Tests to help customers collect qualitative feedback.
The position requires working primarily on Python microservices, with occasional contributions to Node/TypeScript services and a React-based frontend.
The tech stack includes PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, AWS with Kubernetes, and third-party integrations with Twilio and Daily.co.
The role is suitable for a senior engineer or a strong mid-level engineer looking to advance.
Remote work is available in France, Italy, or Spain, or hybrid from Paris, Milan, or Barcelona offices.
Responsibilities include writing clean code, contributing to architectural decisions, collaborating with teams, and improving best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience with Python.
A strong foundation in SQL is required, with familiarity in PostgreSQL being a plus.
Exposure to or willingness to learn Node.js/TypeScript is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and OpenSearch is a strong advantage.
