Blueground is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their high-performing BI team.
The role focuses on providing accurate, relevant, and timely business insights to support decision-making and revenue growth.
The position involves designing and implementing end-to-end BI solutions, developing robust data models and pipelines, and building automated reporting frameworks.
Responsibilities include conducting complex ad-hoc analyses, collaborating with various teams to ensure data governance, and contributing to strategic planning through trend analysis and forecasting.
The candidate will also standardize reporting tools and promote self-serve BI capabilities.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
The candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in BI or analytics with a strong individual contributor track record.
Advanced SQL expertise and proficiency in Python or R are necessary.
Experience with modern BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is required; familiarity with dbt or similar tools is a plus.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to design scalable data models and deliver impactful analytics.
Strong business acumen is essential, with the capability to turn abstract business questions into data strategies.
Excellent communication skills are required to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The candidate should demonstrate independent ownership, initiative, and maintain high data-quality standards.
