As a Senior BI Analyst I, you will work closely with various divisions of the company, including Product Development and Adoption, Technology, Performance, Growth, and Strategic Payer Partnerships.
This position involves developing moderately complex datasets, assisting with complex dataset updates and modifications, and creating data visualizations and analyses that address a wide range of questions across the company.
You will become a subject matter expert in at least one subdomain and collaborate daily with other BI team members while having direct exposure to stakeholders across the company.
You will be knowledgeable in healthcare analytics, population health, and value-based care.
Primary duties include translating findings into actionable insights, building interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations, assisting in the design and implementation of data warehouse tables or views, analyzing complex business problems using data from various sources, and providing end-user support for existing dashboards.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence is required.
You must have experience analyzing data and communicating results through data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for diverse audiences, including company executives, internal staff, and physicians.
Preferred qualifications include at least 3 years of experience working with healthcare data such as claims, EHR, and clinical data.
Strong data management and manipulation skills are necessary, including a solid foundation in SQL programming.
Experience in providing internal end-user support for reporting products, including answering technical questions, troubleshooting, and training is preferred.
Attention to detail and data quality assurance is essential.
Strong quantitative skills are required, with advanced proficiency in SQL, including an understanding of window functions.
Proficiency with a BI dashboarding tool such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is necessary, with specific experience in Tableau being preferred.
Familiarity with dbt or another data transformation tool like SSIS or Alteryx is advantageous.
Physical requirements include sitting for prolonged periods, extensive use of computers and keyboards, and occasional walking and lifting.
