The company is looking for a Senior or Staff Build Engineer to manage CI/CD processes across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms, with a specific focus on iOS build pipelines.
The role involves ensuring that engineers can deploy to production and App Stores quickly and reliably, minimizing overhead and maximizing uptime.
Responsibilities include owning and scaling build automation, managing mobile pipelines, embedding quality and traceability into build stages, applying an SRE mindset to delivery, automating for speed and reliability, championing cross-team collaboration, leading incident response for build failures, and strategizing the adoption of next-gen tools.
The position requires collaboration with engineers across various teams and time zones, as well as with quality and SRE teams to enhance observability and incident workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Build, CI/CD, or Release Engineer, with strong ownership of automation pipelines in production environments.
Proven hands-on experience with iOS build pipelines, including code signing, provisioning, and automation using Fastlane or Xcode Cloud, is required.
Experience in building and operating Android CI/CD pipelines, including Gradle and Play Store uploads, is necessary.
Deep familiarity with CI/CD orchestration tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bitrise is essential.
Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby are required.
Candidates should have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and containerization with Docker.
A solid understanding of distributed build topology and the ability to debug build failures across various layers is necessary.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required for documentation and technical training.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000 USD, along with pre-IPO equity.
The role is 100% remote, available across the U.S. or Canada.
