Remote Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Systems Data & Analytics team.
• In this role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making across multiple business units.
• You will be a key partner to senior stakeholders, shaping the BI roadmap and delivering high-impact dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust BI solutions using Power BI.
• You will analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• You will translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI and data visualization projects.
• Collaboration is essential as you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to support strategic initiatives.
• You will develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Creating and maintaining data models, data dictionaries, and documentation to ensure data accuracy and governance is part of your role.
• You will contribute to the development of BI best practices.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner is expected.
• You will support a data-driven culture across the organization by championing analytics and insights.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field is required.
• You must have 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Power BI is essential.
• Advanced SQL skills are required, and familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is preferred.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms and key components such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks is necessary.
• A strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts is required.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using Atlassian Jira is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic, business-oriented mindset are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights, are required.
• High attention to detail, curiosity, and a commitment to data accuracy are necessary.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with all levels of the organization are important.
• You should be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities are preferred.
