  • The role requires owning the design and documentation of key business metrics and proactively identifying trends and opportunities in data.
  • Collaboration with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering is essential to ensure data models meet reporting needs.
  • The analyst will contribute to best practices for data visualization and storytelling, create training resources, and participate in sprint planning.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Advanced SQL skills are required, along with the ability to work directly with raw tables.
  • Intermediate Python skills for modeling and analyzing data are necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with modern BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is essential.
  • Strong data visualization and communication skills are required.
  • A passion for helping others understand and utilize data for better decision-making is important.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is needed.
  • Familiarity with dbt or dimensional modeling concepts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, telehealth, or regulatory data (e.g., HIPAA) is advantageous.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Candidates should be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment is necessary.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset are essential.
  • The ability to learn new technology systems and communication tools quickly is required.
  • Candidates should be capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively.
