Remote Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Description:

• Vida is a virtual, personalized obesity care provider that helps patients manage obesity and related conditions.
• The company is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join a fast-paced analytics team.
• The role involves informing and driving business strategy through advanced analytics and reporting.
• Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, performing sophisticated data analysis, building and maintaining robust data models, and designing interactive dashboards.
• The analyst will collaborate with analytics engineering teams, conduct ad-hoc analysis, monitor KPIs, and manage cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4-5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Advanced SQL proficiency is necessary, with expert-level ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
• Proven experience in dashboard development using modern BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is required.
• Strong business intelligence skills including statistical analysis, data interpretation, and stakeholder management are essential.
• Experience with modern data modeling practices and cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery, is required.
• Proficiency with data transformation tools, such as DBT or equivalent frameworks, is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills are required to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and rapid problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Experience with clinical data and healthcare analytics, as well as familiarity with HIPAA compliance, is preferred.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices is necessary.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
• Experience with ETL/ELT orchestration tools like Airflow is preferred.

Benefits:

• The salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $120,000 a year.
