Rebellion is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their code department as the DevOps specialist within a small team.
The role involves designing and maintaining the infrastructure, implementing automation frameworks, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing performance and security measures.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for driving game development workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
This position can be based out of either the Oxford or Warwick studios, with options for remote work and a relocation package available.
Key outcomes include maintaining the highest SLA uptimes, consolidating and improving cloud infrastructure, increasing visibility of cloud estate and health metrics, and enhancing control and management of production infrastructure.
Requirements:
Candidates must have prior experience working in DevOps at a Senior level.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies, specifically AWS and Azure, is required.
Candidates should have significant experience with containerizing applications and maintaining containerized infrastructure, including ECS, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLabCI, and CircleCI is necessary.
Experience with version control systems like Perforce and Git is essential.
Knowledge of creating and maintaining logging, monitoring, and incident response technologies is required.
Experience with Pulumi and Microsoft PlayFab is desirable.
The role requires effective deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment, as well as incident management and root cause analysis.
