Remote Senior Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Develop and deploy robust cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to best practices.
• Implement and manage GitOps workflows to automate and streamline development and operational processes.
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions, facilitating smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects.
• Develop and standardize processes for cloud operations, establishing best practices and guidelines to ensure consistent practices.
• Design and deploy infrastructure using IaC tools to automate and optimize cloud resource management.
• Manage and support multi-cloud environments.
• Introduce and apply FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and drive efficient resource utilization.
• Communicate effectively with team members across the organization.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in GitOps tools like GitLab and ArgoCD is required.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Dynatrace, and Datadog is necessary.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible is essential.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a must.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, specifically GCP and Azure, is required.
• Understanding of FinOps practices is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish are required.
