Startup Accelerator offers Data & AI consultants a kickstart to become independent freelance consultants.
Since 2014, they have helped DataOps, MLOps, and GitOps professionals find enjoyable consultancy projects with companies like Heineken, KLM, ING, Vattenfall, and Randstad Group.
Each project is carefully selected based on the technical challenge, team expertise, and mutual fit.
If you specialize in another area within Data & AI besides Cloud Engineering, you are encouraged to apply.
The process involves matching you with your first project at a company of your choice and guiding you through each step of establishing your freelance consultancy career before your current employment contract ends.
Instead of a fixed salary, you can earn 75% of the hourly rate, which amounts to approximately €10,000 per month, depending on your desired work-life balance and how you wish to work as a freelancer.
There are two freelancing options: one with all the risks of starting your own business and one without risks, where you remain on the payroll with all secondary benefits.
After one year, you will be ready to start on your own without Startup Accelerator.
Cloud Engineering projects focus on robotics and sustainability, professionalizing the cloud platform and applications, handling both batch and streaming data from various data sources and products.
You will collaborate within a Data & AI Competence Centre with Data Scientists, Machine Learning/MLOps Engineers, Data Engineers, and other Cloud/Platform Engineers.
The role involves transforming existing products into more data-driven cloud solutions and further developing the data platform with advanced data-driven technologies.
New use cases are continuously defined to stimulate innovation within the company, and you will be a part of this process.
Requirements:
You must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
You should be able to speak Dutch, even if it's at a basic level.
No working visa is needed for this position.
