This position is remote and targeted at candidates located in Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.
Responsibilities include applying software solutions to automate processes, influencing decision-making on cloud infrastructure, taking ownership of projects, enhancing platform security and performance, improving system observability and reliability, collaborating with the engineering team for workflow improvements, providing mentorship, and documenting processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting across the entire stack, with expertise in Linux and networking.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Golang, Bash, and ReactJS is necessary.
High-level skills with managed services from cloud providers, preferably AWS, and experience with building pipelines using K8s/EKS and HELM.
A solid understanding of operational metrics, dashboards, alerts, and container technologies is essential.
Experience in automating tasks, building tools for standardizing engineering processes, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is required.
