The position is for a Senior Cloud Engineer at Session AI, a technology company transforming digital customer engagement with real-time data intelligence.
The role involves migrating from legacy systems to modern cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments, ensuring best practices across deployments and infrastructure-as-code.
The Senior Cloud Engineer will provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture, lead the adoption of modern DevOps principles, and enable the engineering team to succeed in a cloud-first approach.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar, with leadership in cloud migrations.
Deep expertise in AWS, especially EKS (Kubernetes) and Athena, is required.
Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies is necessary.
Hands-on experience designing and operating secure, scalable cloud environments is essential.
Experience with CI/CD tools, container orchestration, and automation is required.
Exposure to GCP or the ability to quickly ramp up on new cloud platforms is needed.
Strong English communication skills are mandatory.
Candidates must be available to work within US time zones and be based in Latin America.
