CoverGo is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work fully remote, aligned to UTC+2 hours.

The role involves collaborating with development teams to design, build, and improve a scalable delivery environment.
Responsibilities include defining and implementing reliability goals, developing shared tooling and processes, and automating workflows.
The engineer will manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and maintain operational documentation.
Success in this role requires being a hands-on cloud engineer, a quick learner, and passionate about distributed systems and infrastructure design.
The candidate should be available to work during UTC+2 hours (12:45 PM to 9:45 PM NPT).
Requirements:
Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud is required.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes, is necessary.
Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash for automation tasks are essential.
A solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform, is required.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as the Prometheus and Grafana stack, is needed.
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Good to have: Experience with database technologies like MongoDB and PostgreSQL, familiarity with micro-services using RESTful API, gRPC, or GraphQL, and experience with GitOps (Flux) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Action).
