The Senior Cloud Services Consultant will lead large-scale cloud engagements, either starting from scratch or improving existing setups.
This role requires providing subject matter expertise and project management skills, serving as the main point of contact for engagement teams.
Responsibilities include designing compliance monitoring activities, contributing to cloud program management, and developing impactful reports for technical and executive audiences.
The consultant will mentor staff, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
The position involves collaborating with engagement managers, ensuring high-quality work products, and engaging with clients to develop cloud and security strategies.
The consultant will assist in designing compliant cloud infrastructure and provide guidance on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
Building relationships with prospective clients to identify opportunities and scope engagements is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of security systems engineering and architecture experience, along with 5+ years supporting cloud architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI is necessary.
Previous experience in a professional services organization supporting clients is required.
Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services is essential.
Candidates should possess critical thinking skills to balance security requirements with mission needs and make risk-based recommendations.
A fundamental understanding of project management principles such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall is required.
