Description:

• Tecknoworks is seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join their team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with remote work options and occasional travel.
• The role involves shaping cloud and AI transformation initiatives for clients in Europe and the US while providing technical guidance to delivery teams.
• The position is divided into 60% client-facing responsibilities, including architecture consulting, solution design, and stakeholder engagement, and 40% internal leadership, focusing on mentoring project teams and developing best practices.
• Key responsibilities include designing large-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS, leading architecture workshops, translating business requirements into scalable cloud architectures, presenting technical solutions, and guiding clients through Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• The candidate will also provide technical guidance to project delivery teams, mentor engineers, establish technical standards, share expertise in emerging cloud technologies, and support pre-sales activities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud platforms.
• Expert-level experience in designing large-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure is required, with AWS experience valued.
• A proven track record with data platforms, analytics solutions, and emerging AI/ML technologies is essential.
• A strong foundation in Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF) is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures is required.
• Candidates should possess Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification or equivalent expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Azure data services and AI/ML platform experience is necessary.
• A software engineering background in .NET, Python, or modern development practices is a plus.
• Multi-cloud awareness and hybrid architecture patterns are also required.
