The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legacy mainframe systems and tools, with extensive expertise in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL, and batch processing on the mainframe.
Responsibilities include analyzing and documenting CICS and Batch programs, documenting business logic, program calls, and data flows, documenting batch jobs and related operations, and collaborating with application owners/SMEs on application documentation and functional verification.
Nice to have skills include experience in core banking and loan systems, mainframe legacy modernization and migration, and familiarity with COBOL programs linked to Assembler routines.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive expertise in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL, and batch processing on the mainframe.
Excellent documentation skills are required for this position.
