The Senior Commissioning Engineer will own and implement the Serverfarm commissioning strategy for L4-L5 commissioning activities.
This role involves driving quality by recommending and enforcing standards for testing critical infrastructure systems, validating new equipment and suppliers, ensuring QA and QC of documentation, and identifying training requirements.
The position is pivotal in enhancing Serverfarm’s competitive edge through the delivery of technology solutions aligned with operations and business requirements.
Key accountabilities include leading projects to ensure performance and compliance, translating customer and operational requirements into technical details, maintaining ownership in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or a closely aligned engineering discipline, or equivalent industry or military experience is required.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines is required.
A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality outcomes is necessary.

The salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $180,000 per year, based on individual skills, experience, and location.
