Description:

  • Contentsquare is seeking a dedicated Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their security team.
  • The role involves responding to security issues and requires practical security experience and knowledge of best practices for detecting and responding to attacks.
  • The position is part of the Development, Security, and Operations Team (DevSecOps) and reports directly to the Director of Cyber Security.
  • The engineer will work closely with the R&D team to ensure the integrity of Contentsquare’s products and the safety of its users and customers.
  • The role offers the option to work from the Paris headquarters or the Barcelona office.
  • Daily responsibilities include responding to security incidents, developing security tools, designing security alerts, auditing technical platforms, leading technology selection, coordinating responses to security events, managing security detection capabilities, sharing best practices, communicating effectively, establishing metrics for improvements, and participating in on-call responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 3-5 years of practical experience in Security Operations, particularly in coordinating responses to security incidents.
  • Experience in building effective partnerships with internal customers is required.
  • Candidates must have experience in building detection and response programs for a SaaS or cloud-native company.
  • Solid experience in developing security tooling and integrating security layers into DevOps pipelines is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of web protocols, security issues, common attacks, Linux/Unix tools, cloud architectures, and the threat landscape is essential.
  • Expertise with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and incident platforms, such as Google SecOps and PagerDuty, is required.
  • Deep knowledge of the technical stack, including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Datadog ASM, Google SecOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Shell, Python, NestJS, Vue.js, and React.js, is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of security concepts and methodologies, including SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, data encryption, and OWASP Top 10, is required.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills, autonomy, and accountability.
  • A solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar threat frameworks is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.
