ChowNow is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work remotely and contribute to the company's vision of connecting diners and independent restaurants for at-home dining.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, design analytical solutions, and deliver insights that inform decisions across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and technical analytical skills, translating data into strategic narratives.
Responsibilities include extracting and manipulating data using SQL, building scalable dashboards in BI tools like Looker or Tableau, and performing advanced analysis using Python, R, or similar tools.
The analyst will present compelling insights to non-technical audiences and support strategic initiatives through ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and business case development.
This position reports to the Senior Business Operations & Strategy Manager and does not have direct reports.
The role is remote, but candidates must be located in the United States, with eligibility confirmed by the recruiting team.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, or Power BI is required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong ethics and high integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
Familiarity with business operations, KPIs, and data storytelling is necessary, along with superb problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
Experience working cross-functionally, particularly with Customer Experience, Finance, Sales, and Marketing, is preferred.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
Candidates should be self-starters with a bias towards action ownership and delivering value.
