The Senior Data Analyst will lead strategic data initiatives across departments and play a key leadership role in building and scaling ConnectPrep’s analytics function.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data systems, driving business insights through advanced analytics, and supporting key initiatives in operations, curriculum development, and marketing.
The role requires leading the design, development, and optimization of dashboards, data models, and analytical tools to support business and educational performance metrics.
The analyst will translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
The position involves owning the full analytics workflow, including data extraction (SQL), transformation, and visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
The analyst will design and evaluate A/B tests for product and content experimentation and develop predictive models to support personalization and adaptive learning efforts.
Collaboration with internal teams, mentoring junior analysts, and supporting data governance and compliance initiatives are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data analytics or data science role, preferably in education, edtech, or a service-based company, is necessary.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries) is required; knowledge of R is a plus.
Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is essential.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage and communicate data projects independently, from conception through execution.
Experience in designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments is required.
Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and data warehouse architecture (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment are necessary.
