  • The Senior Data Analyst will lead strategic data initiatives across departments and play a key leadership role in building and scaling ConnectPrep’s analytics function.
  • Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data systems, driving business insights through advanced analytics, and supporting key initiatives in operations, curriculum development, and marketing.
  • The role requires leading the design, development, and optimization of dashboards, data models, and analytical tools to support business and educational performance metrics.
  • The analyst will translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The position involves owning the full analytics workflow, including data extraction (SQL), transformation, and visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • The analyst will design and evaluate A/B tests for product and content experimentation and develop predictive models to support personalization and adaptive learning efforts.
  • Collaboration with internal teams, mentoring junior analysts, and supporting data governance and compliance initiatives are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data analytics or data science role, preferably in education, edtech, or a service-based company, is necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries) is required; knowledge of R is a plus.
  • Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is essential.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage and communicate data projects independently, from conception through execution.
  • Experience in designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments is required.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and data warehouse architecture (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment are necessary.
  • A passion for education and using data to drive meaningful outcomes is essential.
