The Senior Data Analyst supports leaders across Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management.
Focus areas include exploratory analytics, defining performance metrics, identifying growth opportunities, and simplifying how the business is measured.
This role will work with executives to shape measurement strategies that improve forecasting accuracy by combining technical expertise with business acumen to turn complex data into actionable insights.
It requires a strong collaborator who can work closely with functional teams and data engineering, and communicate clearly and confidently with both executives and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities include leading exploratory analysis to uncover business problems, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
The analyst will analyze CRM data to support GTM strategy and performance tracking.
They will define and maintain unit economics models spanning Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Professional Services.
The role involves building clear, concise, and actionable dashboards and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the organization.
The analyst will partner with the CFO to automate and improve revenue tracking across time periods.
They will develop simple, executive-facing dashboards to track department performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Writing and optimizing SQL queries for reporting and deep investigation is required.
The use of Python and Jupyter (or equivalent tools) for data transformations and advanced custom analysis is expected.
Collaboration with Data Engineering to improve infrastructure and ensure data quality is essential.
Insights will be provided to various departments including Professional Services, Account Management/Growth, Sales, and Marketing.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on B2B GTM operations and CRM data (HubSpot, Salesforce).
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with modern data tools (Domo, Hex, Redshift, Jupyter) are required.
Familiarity with Python (or similar) for advanced analysis and data science workflows is necessary.
Experience supporting business teams with data-driven insights that influence strategy is essential.
Proven ability to break down complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders is required.
Candidates should possess a strong executive presence with excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex topics into concise, meaningful summaries.
Curiosity or experience in building with AI or NLP analysis is a plus.
