The role involves driving insights that power P&C insurance technology solutions, reporting to the General Manager for P&C.
The analyst will translate complex data into actionable business recommendations to improve Gradient’s underwriting and claims solutions.
Responsibilities include conducting deep-dive analyses on client performance, market trends, and product effectiveness.
The analyst will use advanced SQL to extract insights from large datasets and support strategic decision-making.
The role requires interpreting machine learning model outputs and translating technical findings into business recommendations.
The analyst will own key performance metrics and reporting frameworks to measure client outcomes and business impact.
Cross-functional collaboration is essential, supporting sales, product, and customer experience teams with data-driven insights.
The analyst will build analytical frameworks and automated reporting solutions that scale with business growth.
Leading client intelligence efforts to identify patterns and opportunities for product development and positioning is also part of the role.
Requirements:
Proven experience with advanced SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets.
A minimum of 7 years in analytical roles with strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes.
Hands-on familiarity with machine learning concepts and model interpretation, though building models is not required.
Demonstrated success in translating technical analysis into strategic recommendations.
A strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with experience in SaaS or technology environments.
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in P&C underwriting or claims management, is a plus.
