The Senior Data Analyst will focus on the insurance sector and will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
The role involves creating and maintaining comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
The analyst will migrate reports from SAS VA to Power BI, utilizing data stored in Snowflake and Databricks, while advising and guiding report developers.
Best practices for the combined entity, including access management, deployment, and naming conventions, will be proposed.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to support data-driven decision-making.
Ensuring data accuracy and integrity through systematic quality checks is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry, is required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets are essential.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau is necessary.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Data Fabric is required.
Familiarity with Azure is considered a plus.
Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
