The Senior Data Analyst will own the entire analytics workflow, from data modeling to client-facing reports, directly impacting business decisions and product strategy.
Responsibilities include partnering with clients to design intuitive reports, transforming complex data into clear insights, building and optimizing scalable data models using DBT, and establishing best practices for data lineage and performance.
The role involves conducting exploratory analyses to uncover growth opportunities, advising Engineering on data integrations, and partnering with Product to scale custom solutions into features.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in analytics, such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Scientist.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with DBT is required.
Expertise in SQL and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is essential.
Candidates should have BI expertise with modern tools, such as Metabase.
Fluency in data modeling techniques, including Kimball, Inmon, or modern approaches, is necessary.
A technical foundation in Python, Git, and command line is required.
Candidates must possess business acumen to translate technical findings into strategic recommendations.
Nice-to-haves include expertise in ecommerce metrics (CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion rates), experience with ML/predictive analytics, and an interest in hybrid work from the LA or SF office.
