  • ModMed is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join their Data Analytics team in Hyderabad, India.
  • The role involves bridging the gap between business and technical teams by creating trusted, scalable, and efficient data models and products.
  • Responsibilities include collecting business requirements, designing optimized data models, identifying performance metrics, and building data stories for consumption.
  • The Analytics Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert for the Enterprise Data Model and will design, develop, and extend dbt code.
  • The position requires creating and maintaining architecture and systems documentation, providing cross-team support, and assisting with complex data analysis tasks.
  • The role also involves implementing the DataOps philosophy and creating enterprise-grade reporting and data visualization solutions while managing the Databricks workspace.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, with a strong preference for Databricks.
  • A technical knowledge of data systems and a curiosity to solve business problems is essential.
  • Understanding and curiosity about data products utilizing Gen AI is required.
  • A track record of optimal data model development to drive business insights is necessary, with strong preference for experience with dbt cloud.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in business subject areas like marketing, finance, sales, product, customer success, customer support, engineering, or people is required.
  • Experience with extracting and transforming data from cloud-native sources like Salesforce and NetSuite is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in the data space as an analyst, engineer, scientist, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years managing or building data visualization solutions is required.
