Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, with a strong track record in modern data infrastructure development.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Snowflake data warehousing is required.
Deep experience with dbt for data modeling, testing, and documentation is necessary.
Familiarity with Tableau Server, ideally as an administrator, is expected.
Proficiency with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD practices is essential.
Some experience with Python and API development is preferred.
Candidates should be able to design efficient, scalable, and reliable data systems that meet real-world business needs.
Comfort in navigating ambiguous or evolving business contexts and providing data clarity is important.
Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences are required.
Knowledge of data engineering best practices, security considerations, and cost optimization is necessary.
Startup experience and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments are preferred.
Nice to have: Experience with Segment, Amplitude, Iterable, marketing analytics, front-end data visualization, and AI/ML engineering practices.
Benefits:
The base salary ranges from $140,000 to $190,000 USD annually, based on geography and performance.
