  • First Advantage is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic, cross-functional team.
  • The role involves building and optimizing AI-driven solutions and data pipelines using modern cloud and data technologies.
  • The Senior Data Engineer will work for the "Data as An Asset Team," which supports all data, reporting, analytics, and intelligence needs for First Advantage.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and testing Data Warehouse and Data Lake applications.
  • The engineer will collaborate with development teams, testing teams, and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application requirements.
  • The role requires reviewing and understanding requirements, creating optimal data pipelines, and implementing internal process improvements for both On-Premises and Cloud Migrations.
  • The engineer will be responsible for unit testing, debugging, performance testing, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • The position requires the development of job schedules that integrate with upstream and downstream systems and accountability for on-time delivery of all documentation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of development experience in relational databases, NoSQL, or other industry-accepted database platforms is required.
  • Proficiency in planning and delivering robust enterprise-grade data engineering pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and ETL for at least 5 years.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Analysis is necessary.
  • Familiarity with source code control versioning tools such as GIT is required.
  • Experience in creating high-level design artifacts is essential.
  • The ability to present technical concepts to senior-level business stakeholders is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • The candidate should be a self-motivated worker with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to changes is required.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills are necessary.
