  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data infrastructure services, developing DBT models, collaborating with the Analytics team, creating scalable real-time streaming and offline ETL pipelines, managing a data warehouse, and improving data operations through automation and optimization.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of industry experience in the data infrastructure/data engineering domain is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience with Python and SQL is necessary; Java experience is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience using DBT is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience using Snowflake and its basic features is necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience using Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically CDK and Terraform, is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for key collaboration are essential.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, RDS, EKS, DMS, and EMR, is required.
  • Industry experience with big data platforms and tools such as Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Cassandra, and Airflow is necessary.
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases in a production environment is required.
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns are essential.
  • Prior experience working on cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD to improve code stability and quality is necessary.
  • A motivated attitude to help other engineers succeed and be effective is required.
  • Excitement to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-growth dynamic environment is essential.
