  • As a Senior Developer in the BI&AP Streaming Team, you will design, develop, and maintain the real-time data streaming platform.
  • You will be responsible for implementing mission-critical use cases from real-time analytics to personalized user experiences by building scalable, low-latency data pipelines using Kafka Streams, Flink, and the JVM ecosystem (Java/Scala).
  • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing real-time streaming pipelines, leading architecture and design decisions, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with product and project managers, ensuring data quality and reliability, championing performance and fault tolerance, evaluating new technologies, enforcing quality assurance standards, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Requirements:

  • You must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of leadership and successful project delivery.
  • Proven expertise with Apache Kafka and hands-on experience with Flink, Kafka Streams, or similar real-time systems is required.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, and Python are essential.
  • An in-depth understanding of distributed systems, data consistency models, and streaming semantics is necessary.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
  • You should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including presenting technical concepts and project updates.
