The company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing US-based tech and AI team, serving as the inaugural data hire.

The Data Engineer will bridge robust data infrastructure with high-performance product development, ensuring data availability for business decisions and reporting needs.
Responsibilities include designing and building scalable data pipelines using AWS S3, MySQL, and AWS Glue, maintaining dynamic dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to understand their data needs.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering is required, with backend technology experience being a significant plus.
Strong proficiency with AWS S3, MySQL, and AWS Glue is essential for building and optimizing data pipelines.
Experience with backend development frameworks such as Java/Spring Boot is a plus, along with a good understanding of backend architectures.
Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages for data manipulation is required.
