Curinos is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team, which owns the shared data ecosystem for B2B SaaS applications.
The role involves working with a diverse team of engineers, AI and ML scientists, and product managers to build next-generation data and AI platforms.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data and AI platforms, implementing data monitoring and pipeline observability, and optimizing pipeline operations.
The engineer will develop and maintain ETL data pipelines for large volumes of data, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
High standards in software and data engineering best practices must be maintained, including SDLC, testing, scaling, and performance.
The role requires conducting code reviews, supporting the adoption of data platform tools, participating in agile ceremonies, and staying current with emerging technologies.
The position is fully remote in the United States or hybrid in the Greater New York or Boston metropolitan areas.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000 USD, plus bonus.
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
Experience with Spark, including distributed computing and optimization, is necessary.
Preferred experience with Databricks, including Unity Catalog, Feature Store, and Delta Live Tables.
Extensive experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Airflow, Databricks, and Glue is required.
A strong understanding of data engineering best practices, including ETL/ELT, monitoring, observability, and validations, is essential.
Experience with big data, scaling data processing, and distributed computing is necessary.
Production support experience is required.
A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience is required, with 5+ years preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate self-discipline and eagerness to learn new skills, tools, and technologies.
Solid verbal and written communication skills are essential.
