The role requires active development of large-scale data engineering projects and creating data pipelines in Airflow, DBT, and Google Cloud Platform.
The candidate will build, manage, and support data models, ensuring data quality with data tests in Monte Carlo and Datafold.
The position involves modeling market dynamics, bringing visibility into sales and supply chain operations, and explaining consumer choices.
The candidate will work in a scrum agile environment using Trello and partner with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts.
The role includes developing new systems and tools for stakeholders to consume and understand data intuitively and keeping Juul on the cutting edge of data technology.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of data engineering or software engineering experience with a focus on data is required.
Significant experience in independently driving engineering solutions is necessary.
Advanced knowledge in developing using Python for data processing for large-scale datasets and workflows is essential.
The candidate should be skilled in using Python libraries and packages (Pandas, PyArrow) in conjunction with Google Cloud Platform.
Comfort with working on AI pipelines (Vertex AI, Claude) is preferred.
Knowledge of bash/shell and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) is preferred.
Experience with version control (Git) and containers (Docker) is required.
The candidate should be skilled in analytical SQL for data modeling and transformations.
Foundational expertise in deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines is a plus.
A preferred master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience is desired.
