The Senior Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
This is a fully remote position with flexible working conditions.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL workflows using Python and SQL, designing scalable data pipelines, working with relational databases, optimizing SQL queries and Python scripts, implementing error handling and monitoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Expert-level skills in Python and SQL are required, with the ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Strong experience in designing ETL processes and working with large datasets is necessary.
A solid understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization is essential.
Experience with data modeling and schema design is required.
Familiarity with cloud storage solutions such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are important.
It is a plus to have experience with PySpark, orchestrators, and knowledge of CI/CD for deployment process automation.
