The Senior Data Engineer will be a key member of the data engineering team, responsible for scaling the infrastructure that supports the universal pixel and transforming high-volume event data into actionable signals.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, building and maintaining workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing ELT processes, developing data models, monitoring pipeline health, contributing to cloud data infrastructure, documenting workflows, and promoting best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering, focusing on building scalable data infrastructure.
Strong experience with data pipelining and modeling is required, including familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, and dbt.
In-depth knowledge of streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka is essential.
Candidates should be skilled in designing and maintaining ELT/ETL workflows using modern tooling.
Proficiency in SQL and comfort with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Bigtable, Spanner) is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is required.
Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end tracking concepts, particularly in non-browser environments like CTV, is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially with distributed systems and large-scale event data, are essential.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required.
Bonus points for experience in adtech, martech, or CTV attribution.

The approximate compensation range for this position is $145,000-$210,000, with the actual offer determined by various factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
