  • The Senior Data Engineer will design and implement business process data exchanges and transformations, as well as data transformation processes to support analytic workloads.

  • Collaboration with onshore/offshore development teams to build, deploy, and operate data integrations is essential.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a blend of practical experience, education, and achievement in data management and transformation.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent hands-on knowledge of data integration platforms across commercial, cloud service, and open source distributions.
  • Experience with data integrations involving enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Expense Management, MDM, and data warehouses using both batch and API methods is required.
  • Substantial programming experience with Python-based data orchestration and transformation frameworks (e.g., Airflow, AWS Glue, Prefect, Dagster, Spark, Polars, Databricks) is necessary.
  • Strong working knowledge of traditional RDBMS data warehousing and platforms like Snowflake and RedShift is essential.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and processes to organize and advance task flows is expected.
  • Experience mentoring other data engineers in design and implementation best practices is preferred.
  • Candidates should have substantial experience curating data for use in SaaS distributed applications.
  • A passion for a data-driven approach to monitor and optimize operational processes and data flows is crucial.
