The role involves building a data platform for analytics, reporting, and AI insights, and requires a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data squad.
The Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain data infrastructure, including pipelines, DBT models, and orchestration systems using tools like Snowflake, Paradime, Hevo, and Airflow.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, creating DBT models for team analysis, setting up workflows, managing data flow, and ensuring data quality.
The engineer will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Finance teams to provide clean, reliable data for decision-making.
The position is suitable for someone who thrives in fast-moving startups and can manage various aspects of the data process.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering with real production pipelines and data modeling.
Strong SQL and Python skills are required, along with extensive experience using DBT.
A good understanding of Snowflake is necessary, including query optimization, cost management, access control setup, and scalable schema design.
Experience with workflow tools like Airflow or Dagster is essential.
Familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Hevo or Fivetran is required.
Bonus points for experience working with messy data and integrating LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.).
Candidates should be able to prioritize well and work across different areas, including marketing analytics, sales reporting, and product insights.
Good communication skills and a sense of ownership over work are important.
