Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3–5 years of data engineering experience or equivalent software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting and data manipulation is required.
  • Experience with DBT and Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Azure DWH) is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of AWS-based data infrastructure (S3, Lambda, EC2) is essential.
  • Additional scripting in Bash, experience with orchestration tools like Prefect, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker) are nice to have.
  • Experience with GitHub and Jira for code management and project tracking, as well as web scraping, is also beneficial.
  • A background working with retail point-of-sale data or integration within the Cannabis industry is a significant plus.
