Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles with a solid track record in building data pipelines.
  • Strong SQL expertise and experience in relational database schema design are required.
  • Practical knowledge of Apache Spark, preferably with Scala, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, is essential.
  • Experience using data ingestion tools (e.g., Kafka, NiFi) and processing languages such as Python and Java is required.
  • Bonus points for prior work with healthcare datasets and analytics.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured problem-solving mindset are necessary.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams are required.
  • Candidates should be able to manage multiple priorities with an ownership mindset.
  • A curiosity for understanding the business impact behind the data is important.
