This position is for a Senior Data Engineer at Claritas Rx, located in the United States, and is a remote role.

The Senior Data Engineer will lead multiple workstreams and collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business impact.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive experience in software engineering, data architecture, and healthcare data management.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading software engineers.
Expertise in data architecture, ELT/ETL development, data transformation, data modeling, and BI dashboard/report development is required.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Python, Typescript, and SQL, including complex queries, joins, triggers, views, and performance optimization is necessary.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK, and deep AWS knowledge with certifications is essential.
Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and robust data pipelines is required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and mentorship are necessary.
Preferred experience includes PySpark, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Kinesis streaming, Golang, Tableau, and familiarity with HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST requirements.
