The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building scalable data systems to support data democratization and drive business value.
This role involves working across various business areas, including marketing, sales, courier logistics, and network performance, while collaborating with stakeholders to design and build solutions for key business questions.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining data models, ingesting data into Snowflake, collaborating on process improvements, enhancing data observability, and contributing to data literacy efforts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, with familiarity in Dagster, DBT, and Snowflake being a plus.
Advanced SQL knowledge is required.
Experience with source control technologies such as git is necessary.
Candidates should have experience implementing scalable and sustainable data infrastructure, with familiarity in AWS EC2, Terraform, and CI/CD.
Experience with AI projects and exposure to leveraging LLMs/Machine Learning is a plus.
DevOps knowledge is also a plus.
Strong communication skills are essential for partnering with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
The ability to thrive in a remote environment through effective asynchronous communication and collaboration is required.
Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate a can-do attitude with flexibility in taking on new opportunities.
