Description:

• Unybrands is a next-generation e-commerce platform for micro-brands, established in 2020 and headquartered in Miami, with a global presence.
• The company acquires e-commerce businesses and integrates them into its platform to optimize operations and enhance business performance.
• Currently, Unybrands has acquired 30 brands across various categories including Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, and more.
• The Senior Data Engineer will focus on GCP solution architecture, designing, building, and optimizing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Responsibilities include architecting scalable cloud solutions, building robust data pipelines, optimizing BigQuery warehousing, ensuring data quality and governance, driving performance and efficiency, leveraging industry knowledge, maintaining security and compliance, leading and mentoring engineers, collaborating across teams, and documenting processes clearly.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years in IT, with at least 3 years in cloud architecture or GCP solutions.
• Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services is required.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing, particularly with BigQuery, is essential.
• Solid coding skills in SQL and Python (preferred), Java, or Scala are necessary.
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, DBT, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is expected.
• Industry experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG is important.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
